By booking our services (Mobile Repairs, Servicing, or Remapping), you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Mobile Service & Work Area
- Safe Access: The customer must provide a safe, flat, and legal area for the mechanic to work on the vehicle (e.g., a private driveway or legal roadside space).
- Working Conditions: We reserve the right to reschedule if weather conditions (heavy rain, high winds) make it unsafe to perform mechanical repairs or electronic remapping outdoors.
- Vehicle Access: The customer or an authorized representative must be present to provide keys and access to the vehicle at the agreed time.
2. Diagnostics & Repairs
- Diagnostic Fees: If we attend a call-out and perform a diagnostic that reveals a fault the customer chooses not to repair, a standard call-out/diagnostic fee is still payable.
- Supplied Parts: We generally do not fit parts supplied by the customer due to warranty and safety restrictions. If agreed, we offer no warranty on the labor or the part itself.
3. Remapping & Emissions (Legal Notice)
UK LAW: Modifications that increase emissions beyond factory levels (such as DPF/EGR/AdBlue deletes) are intended for off-road/track use only.
- Legal Compliance: It is the owner's responsibility to ensure the vehicle meets UK road legality and emissions standards for MOT testing.
- Mechanical Health: Remapping increases stress on engine components. We are not liable for the failure of pre-existing worn parts (e.g., turbo, clutch, injectors) after a performance increase.
4. Cancellations & Call-Out Fees
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- If we arrive at the location and cannot access the vehicle or the customer is not present, a minimum call-out charge will apply.
5. Payment Terms
Full payment is required immediately upon completion of the work. We accept cash, bank transfers, or card payments as agreed during the booking.
